List of the most inspiring makeup and hairstyles, spotted during Paris Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2023, which should be on everyone's head next year.

What are the major beauty trends for 2023?

Many inspirations hatched on the catwalks of the last Fashion Week, setting the tone for the trends to follow next year. Like every season, make-up artists and hairstylists have redoubled their creativity to align themselves with the designers' looks. A new way to wear your liner, the right style of ponytail, or the most prominent lipstick color… Here is the summary of makeup and hairstyles to follow next year. Or right now.

The hottest beauty trends from Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2023.

1. Chanel's neo ponytail

The lengths of the tops are brought back, and tied in a low ponytail, thanks to an XXL rectangular bar fixed at the bottom. The effect obtained, as if the pliers had slipped over the lengths, is chic without being too strict, both elegant and effortless.

2. Miu Miu headband

At Miu Miu, a very thin headband is worn as close to the forehead as possible, and hides the roots, associated with a clean parting shifted to the side and slicked back hair.

3. Louis Vuitton's lash line

Combined with a nude complexion enhanced with a touch of highlighter on the cheekbones, a smoky black halo highlighted the eyes of the tops at the Louis Vuitton show. Or how to intensify the gaze with a simple pencil stroke.

4. Zimmermann's Extra Long Hair

At the Zimmermann fashion show, the lengths of the wavy tops tumbled down to their hips, in a romantic bohemian chic style imagined by Damien Boissinot… Everything we love for summer.

5. Valentino's micro bangs

To counterbalance these colorfull looks, the hairstyles of the Valentino show imagined by Guido Palau were square, even strict. We can therefore see that next spring marks the return of the micro-fringe.

6. Givenchy bleached eyebrows

In line with the decor full of nature in which they strolled at Givenchy, the tops displayed a minimalist makeup that played on transparency, signed Lucia Pieroni. The mouth shimmers and the eyebrows are bleached, as if to better highlight the eyes, whose eyelashes are overloaded with mascara in a very 60's spirit.

7. The pure beauty of Victoria Beckham

For Victoria Beckham's first show in Paris, the models adopted a beauty treatment in the purest French spirit: a no-makeup-makeup effect, worked on at length beforehand by Diane Kendal. The complexion, nude, is enhanced with subtle touches of strategic glow and the lips are delicately bald. The hair, moistened by Duffy, is pulled back as though styled with a simple wave of the hand as you get out of the shower.

8. Andreas Kronthaler's neo-wet For Vivienne Westwood

If the wet is an omnipresent trend this season, it is transcended by Charlie Le Mindu at the Vivienne Westwood fashion show: more than wet, the girls' hair was as if frozen, gelled, in an almost pictorial style.

9. Giambattista Valli's skin jewel

A pear-shaped diamond glued to the very skin… Associated with a slicked down hairstyle and totally nude make-up designed by Isamaya Ffrench, this pure luxury detail is to be reserved for the big evenings.

10. The Loewe side parting

To match Jonathan Anderson's poetic creations, the girls' hairstyles remained very discreet: the lengths are brought to the side, and flattened under the impulse of Guido Palau.

11. Dior crossover liner

Inspiration? On one side, Catherine de Medici, on the other, Stella Lucia, one of the tops who paraded during the show. Right in the neo-grunge codes of the moment, the make-up of the Dior fashion show imagined by Peter Philips bet everything on the look, thanks to a skilful interplay of crossed liner in the inner corner of the eye. Minimal effect, maximum impact.

12. Chloe's mermaid look

At the Chloé show, the girls' eyelids were enhanced with a shimmering silver halo by Hannah Murray. Associated with wet hair under the leadership of Holli Smith, they seemed, like naiads, like straight out of the water… An ultra-fresh look, which already propels us into summer.

13. The Saint Laurent Low Ponytail

Classic. Chic. And it couldn't be more Parisian: the Saint Laurent woman wears the ponytail as low as possible in the back of the neck, and flattened at the roots. All coordinated by Duffy, one of the star backstage hairdressers this season.

14. Dries Van Noten Bold Eyeshadow

Klein blue, black or smoky gold is reinvented in all shades at Dries Van Noten. With such a powerful look, the rest of the makeup is muted. Lucy Bridge dreams of a completely nude make-up: the skin remains pure, and the lips are simply sublimated with a moisturizing balm. On the hair side, the lengths are folded back and textured wet styling by Sam McKnight.

15. Rochas Dark Mouth

The right shade to enhance the lips according to Lucia Pieroni, for Rochas? An ultra-dark burgundy bordering almost on black, for a hyper graphic, hyper couture beauty treatment. And the mouth becomes the center of the face.
