Sarah Jessica Parker re-wears Carrie's iconic Vivienne Westwood wedding dress in 'And Just Like That'

Filming for the second season of And Just Like That is underway, and photos are starting to come in from the New York set, including new footage of Sarah Jessica Parker re-wearing Carrie Bradshaw's famous wedding dress.

The actress was spotted on the steps of her iconic Greenwich apartment in a Vivienne Westwood wedding dress from the TV series Sex and the City. For this new look, Bradshaw added teal gloves and a matching opera jacket, and wore a netted veil and a similar feathered hood.

The entire SATC line has left an indelible mark on modern popular culture and our wardrobes. Fans will remember Bradshaw's plans to marry with Mr.Big at the New York Public Library. Carrie, who preferred an iconic wedding dress by Vivienne Westwood, was being abandoned by the groom on the wedding day. Carrie, on the other hand, went on her carefully planned honeymoon with her three best girlfriends, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte, and with their help she has to overcome the heartbreak of rejection.

The new spin-off series from the world of Sex and the City got everyone talking last year, we welcome back Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda Hobbs (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte York (Kristin Davis) and follow them as they navigate their lives in their 50s.

Fans enjoyed seeing recognizable pieces from the original series and movies in season one, including Bradshaw's style signatures on the series, like the Manolo Blahnik heels and Fendi Baguette bag.

AJLT costume designers Molly Rogers and Danny Santiago said last year that Bradshaw will be repurposing items from her famous closet as a reflection of time, and our renewed focus on sustainability in the fashion industry, which was far less considered when the original show aired in the '90s and 2000s.

"Even the characters on the show are in that mood. We try to reuse pieces from SJ's archive in key moments where they make sense, because we wanted to honor them," says Rogers. Now the question to be answered is: Why Bradshaw re-wears the famous wedding dress. Is she getting married?
