While the Oscar nominations were announced in 10 categories, the names in the Best Original Soundtrack category created great excitement.
The shortlists in 10 categories for the 2023 Oscar Awards have been announced. The awards will find their owners at the ceremony held in Los Angeles on March 12. The shortlists, also known as the final evaluation lists before determining the Oscar nominees, include categories such as Documentary, International Film, Original Soundtrack.
Songs from giants such as Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Selena Gomez, Lady Gaga, Diane Warren and The Weeknd compete in the Best Original Soundtrack category. Featuring the likes of Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, and other well-known pop stars, the Original Song category looks set to be the crash of existing music giants. But never ignore Diane Warren, who won an Honorary Oscar last month and earned her 14th nomination in the category for "Applause" from the now rare documentary Tell It Like a Woman.
