With the launch of the French luxury fashion house's first collection for newborns, even babies can now wear Louis Vuitton.

Louis Vuitton said the baby line, which will be available in select stores worldwide beginning March 3, will include apparel, shoes, accessories, and objects that put a new spin on the signature monogram pattern. Flowers, the brand's trademark, will appear as holes in leather shoes, 3D cashmere knit, and labels attached to various parts.

"The collection represents a thoughtful range of everyday pieces and special occasion styles," the fashion house said in a statement. Among the baby gifts are an embroidered silver cup, a Louis Vuitton teddy bear, and a specially designed wardrobe chest.

Garments lasting up to 12 months are made from materials chosen in accordance with the brand's commitment to responsible sourcing. Vuitton stated that organic cotton and Leather Working Group certified leather are among its environmental standards, while cashmere and sheep wool are sourced from partners who ensure animal welfare.

The baby clothes come in milky whites, sands, and grays and include rompers, matching suits, bodysuits, pajamas, a dress, and a reversible hooded coat, as well as accessories like knit slippers and floral beanies, bibs, and socks.

Vuitton is no stranger to the world of children. In the 1930s, Gaston-Louis Vuitton, grandson of the house's founder, opened the first toy department in the Avenue des Champs-Élysées store.
