Lisa, a member of the world-famous K-pop group Blackpink, entered the Guinness Book of Records three times while also pursuing a solo career.

Lisa, a member of the world-famous K-pop group Blackpink, is still a successful solo artist. The 25-year-old Thai singer broke not one, not two, but three Guinness World Records.

Lisa currently holds a number of records with Blackpink, the YouTube group with the most subscribers, including being the first female K-pop group to reach number one on the UK album chart and the first female K-pop group to reach number one on the US album chart.

SHE ALONE HAS THREE RECORDS

She has now entered the Guinness Book of Records multiple times on his own. Lisa was the first solo K-pop winner at the MTV Video Music Awards, as well as the first solo K-pop winner at the MTV Europe Music Awards, and she has long held the record for the most Instagram followers. Lisa was also inducted into the Guinness Book of World Records as a K-pop artist with 86.3 million followers as of January 19, 2023.

Lisa chose to pursue her solo career with the song 'LaLisa,' which she released in September 2021.

Blackpink previously held the record for the most watched YouTube video in 24 hours as well as the most watched clip in 24 hours. The song 'Dynamite' by BTS did break this record.

Blackpink, comprised of Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé, made history in 2019 by becoming the first female K-pop group to perform at the Coachella Music Festival.

OVER RECORDINGS

With their song Playing With Fire, the group became the first K-pop female group to enter the Canadian Hot 100 in 2016. They broke three Billboard chart records in 2018 with the song Ddu-Du Ddu-Du and the album Square Up, which included this song.

 

In 2019, the Ddu-Du Ddu-Du video became the first K-pop video to reach 1 billion views. The group became the first K-pop group to reach 20 million YouTube followers in the same year.

With 86.4 million views in the first 24 hours, the song How You Like That, released in 2020, became YouTube's biggest music video Premiere.

Members of the group, Jennie and Rosé, drew attention with their solo songs. With her 2018 SOLO music video, Jennie became the fastest K-pop female solo artist to reach 100 million views.
