The 95th Academy Awards, popularly referred to as the Oscar Awards and one of the highest honors in the film industry, have been announced.

The Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, California, USA, hosted the 95th Academy Awards ceremony. Jimmy Kimmel hosted the event.

The film "Everything Everywhere Everything At Once" won the Best Picture prize. Seven awards were given to the movie in total.

On the other hand, Michelle Yeoh, an Asian woman, was the first to win the Best Actress prize. Yeoh further serves as a goodwill ambassador for the UNDP .

Not-So-Red Carpet

This year, the competitors entered the ceremony on a beige carpet rather than the customary red carpet, which attracted notice.

Several celebrities showed their support for the UNHCR's "I'm With Refugees" campaign by donning blue ribbons throughout the ceremony.

Lady Gaga and singer Rihanna gave performances at the ceremony. Lady Gaga changed out of the costume she was on at the start of the event and entered the stage wearing just a T-shirt and trousers.

Actor Will Smith, who underlined the ceremony's agenda by slapping host Chris Rock on live television last year, was unable to attend. Smith was prohibited from attending the Oscars for ten years as a result of this incident.
